The CompanyProspective Healthcare Consultants was created in 2000, out of a need to improve quality and education in long-term care. As regulation changes and interpretation became a bit more difficult for providers they were not receiving needed resources and guidance from regulatory bodies thus leading to continued miscommunication and noncompliance. PHC felt that the healthcare professionals of the industry providers required additional resources, a supportive partnership, and a company that understood their operational and clinical needs. This became the mission of PHC. PHC is a company that provides practical education and services to providers that will assist in achieving compliance and maintaining quality. The Presenters and Consultants of PHCSharon Wooten LPN, LNHA, BA, MBA - Senior Consultant and Business Advisor Sharon has over 17 years of healthcare experience. She has worked at various levels within the healthcare arena. She has a vast knowledge base in areas consisting of but not limited to: MDS’s, PPS, Medicare/Medicaid, Healthcare Billing, Healthcare Administration, QA, and Financial Management. Her extensive experience in Operational and Clinical Management has provided effective solutions within numerous organizations. Sharon can assist in the interdisciplinary structure and compliance requirements related to federal, state, and local regulations. She is licensed to provide continuous resources and interim services at various nursing levels as well as operational management levels. She has been a healthcare consultant for the past 7 years and has performed services in multiple states. Sharon has developed Comprehensive Medicare Programs, Fiscal Service Programs, and Operational Budgets for new and existing organizations. She can also provide extensive Financial Audits and Crisis Management services.
Ollie French RN, BSN, RNC, C, LNC, LNHA– Senior Operations Consultant Ollie has over 29 years of healthcare experience. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and is Certified in Medical/Surgical Nursing. She has over 20 years of clinical management and clinical training experience. She has developed and managed nursing teams in various heatlhcare settings including long-term care, acute care, and home health as the DON and/or Education Director. With her strong background and extensive experience in clinical management and staff development, she has developed policies and procedures for nursing operations of all sizes. She can provide ongoing resources and interim services in all areas of nursing/clinical operations. She is also certified as a C.N.A. instructor/examiner and a Legal Nurse Consultant.
Susan Gallagher, RN, MSN, GCNS, APRN, BC– Director of Education & Clinical Services Susan is an experienced Registered Nurse in both Missouri and Illinois. She has over 10 years experience in healthcare performing duties at various levels. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing, with a specialty in Gerontology. She is ANCC-certified in Geriatrics and is licensed as a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in Missouri. Susan has provided formal instruction and training to nursing assistants, medical assistant students, and pratical nursing students. She has extensive background and knowledge in long term care. She also is an excellent presenter of related topics and can assist any organization with their Clinical and Educational needs.
Dan Harris CPC, CAPP—Managing Consultant Dan has over 14 years experience as a billing specialist . He has assisted several physicians in cost management and practice compliance. He has experience in several areas of Practice Management and has developed policies for reimbursement, collections, and billing processes. He can train medical staff in claims processing, collections, and office practices. Dan can provide assistance in outsourcing of billing services and collections efforts.
